ORA DISPONIBILE SU
Dai dati rilasciati da DiRe, l’associazione che riunisce 80 centri antiviolenza e le Case delle donne di tutta Italia, tra il 2 marzo e il 3 maggio 5.939 donne, distribuite equamente fra i 2 mesi, hanno contattato le operatrici dei centri. Di queste, 1.815 (il 30% circa) erano contatti nuovi, ovvero donne che chiedevano aiuto ai centri per la prima volta. 11 donne sono state uccise dai loro partner o familiari aggressivi in 9 settimane. Il centro antiviolenza dell’Aquila, nello specifico, che proprio a febbraio 2020, dopo anni di intense richieste alle istituzioni, era riuscito ad ottenere una Casa Rifugio per le donne che subiscono violenza, subito dopo la fine del lockdown ha ricevuto in un mese un numero di chiamate che ha fatto raggiungere la cifra complessiva dell’intero anno 2019. Restare a casa, per le donne che subiscono violenza domestica, non è stata una sicurezza.
Il documentario Il cammino più lungo vuole raccontare la lotta quotidiana che le operatrici del Centro antiviolenza sostengono nel territorio aquilano attraverso la storia di una delle sue fondatrici, Simona Giannangeli.
Il cammino più lungo è un progetto indipendente e completamente autofinanziato. La partecipazione e il coinvolgimento del pubblico sono quindi fondamentali per la sua realizzazione: per questo motivo abbiamo bisogno del supporto delle persone che, direttamente o indirettamente, possano sentirsi coinvolte dai temi trattati e credere in questo progetto.
Per realizzare tutto abbiamo lanciato una campagna crowdfunding che ci ha permesso di raccogliere 4.500€
Questo ci permetterà anche di:
– sostenere le spese di post-produzione necessarie alla realizzazione del documentario (montaggio, montaggio del sonoro, color correction, grafiche, traduzione e sottotitoli)
– comporre musiche originali
– coprire le spese di produzione (come spese vive per la troupe, costi di viaggio, noleggio attrezzatura)
– sostenere le spese di distribuzione (realizzare DVD, promuovere il documentario e distribuirlo
– iscrizione a festival nazionali e internazionali

From the datas collected by DiRe, the national association that lists 80 anti-violence centers and women’s homes from all Italy, between March 2nd and May 3rd 5.939 women, equally distributed among the 2 months, came into contact with the operators. The anti-violence centre in L’Aquila, which only in February 2020 had obtained the refugee house for women victims of violence, following years and years of struggle with the institutions, immediately after the end of the lockdown in one month received a number of calls that made it reach the total figure of the previous year. Home, for women victims of violence, it has not been a safe place.
The documentary The longest walk wants to tell the story of the everyday fight that the anti-violence centre’s operators bring on in the context of L’Aquila through the story of one of its founding members, Simona Giannangeli.
The longest walk is an independent and completely self-financed project. For this reason, the participation of the public and the involvement of the audience are essential to the realization of the documentary: that’s why we need the support of people who, directly or indirectly, can be involved by the issues it will talk about and believe in this project.
In order to achieve this, we launched a crowdfunding campaign through which we raised 4.500€
It would also allow us to:
– support the post-production costs required to the realization of the documentary (audio and video editing, color correction, graphics, translation and subtitles)
– compose original music
– cover the first production costs (such as crew expenses, travel costs, equipment rental)
– support the distribution costs (creating DVDs, promoting and distributing the documentary)
– enroll the documentary in national and international festivals
